The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is set to inject funds into boosting the economy during the upcoming high season by organizing the “Chonburi International Music Festival in The Rain” at Pattaya Beach this September.
On August 27th, 2024, a meeting was held at The Bayview Hotel in Pattaya, chaired by Mr. Krisana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, along with Mr. Somchai Chomphunoi, Director of the Eastern Region for the TAT, and Mr. Morakot Suddee, Director of the Eastern Region Marketing Division for the TAT. The meeting focused on preparing for the “Chonburi International Music Festival in The Rain.”
According to Mr. Somchai, the TAT has been tasked by the Thai government to arrange tourism stimulus projects before the upcoming high season to boost the economy. The event’s concept is framed around “5 Must Do Things in Thailand,” covering five regions.
The “Chonburi International Music Festival” will take place as part of the “Thai Charm Festival” project on September 20th-22nd and September 27th-29th, 2024, at Pattaya Central Beach. The event aims to stimulate travel and increase the number of tourists visiting Chonburi during the high season.
