Pattaya, August 22nd– In a ceremony held at Pattaya City School 1, the Amarin Group, in collaboration with Thai Beverage, delivered bookshelves and quality books as part of their “Project to Deliver Knowledge, Create Happiness, Year 5.”
The event, which took place at 11:00 a.m., was graced by Mr. Banjong Banthuraprayuk, Vice President of the Pattaya City Council and Chairman of the Basic Education Committee of Pattaya City School 1, alongside Mr. Banlue Kulawanit, President of the Pattaya City Council, council members, the school director, teachers, and students.
The project, spearheaded by Amarin Corporation Public Company Limited and supported by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, aims to foster reading habits, enhance reading and writing skills, and promote literacy among students. These skills are fundamental to lifelong learning and personal development.
As part of the initiative, two bookshelves and a diverse collection of quality books, tailored to the age groups of the students, were donated. Each participating school received 1,000 books, 100 reading notebooks, and two project activity guidelines.
This year, the project expanded to include 50 additional schools, bringing the total to 210 schools across 77 provinces. Among the newly selected schools were Pattaya City School 1 (Chern Pisolyabutr Ratchabamphen) and Pattaya City School 7 (Ban Nong Phang Kae).
During the ceremony, the project representatives delivered the bookshelves, books, reading notes, and activity guidelines to Pattaya City School 1. The initiative aims to encourage students to develop a love for reading, improve their reading skills, and make reading a regular habit. By utilizing their free time productively, students can enhance their learning and education in a tangible and sustainable manner.
