Huay Yai, Near Pattaya –
A young motorbike rider has been pronounced deceased while three other people have sustained injuries after four motorbikes collided in the Huay Yai area on Saturday early in the morning (September 7th).
The Huay Yai Police were notified of the accident at 1:36 A.M. on the Number 331 Road. Emergency responders and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find four damaged motorbikes lying on the road. Three people had sustained injuries and rescue teams also tragically found the lifeless body of Mr. Passakorn, 18.
An unidentified friend of Passakorn told the Pattaya News that the group were friends and were riding together on six motorbikes in total, coming back from hanging out near the sea in Sattahip. Suddenly, Passakorn lost control of his bike and collided with three of the other five motorbikes, leading to the accident and Passakorn’s death.
The injured parties were treated at the scene for mostly minor injuries while police reviewed the accident and attempted to determine exactly what led Passakorn to lead control.
Police did not state if any external factors like possible speeding, alcohol, lack of a helmet, or drugs were involved in the fatal accident, only that they would review the circumstances and conduct an investigation.
