Bangkok, Thailand – In a remarkable display of international friendship and horticultural excellence, Nongnooch Pattaya Garden has transformed the landscape of the Residence of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy in Thailand. The project, led by Mr. Kampol Tansajja, President of Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, involved a team of nearly 100 gardeners who worked tirelessly to complete the garden in just one day.
Located at 61 Sukhumvit Soi 61, Klongton Nua Subdistrict, Watthana District, Bangkok, the embassy’s new garden was designed under the concept of the “Friendship Garden.” Mr. Nosereddine Haydari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, warmly welcomed the team and expressed his gratitude for their efforts. He praised Nongnooch Pattaya Garden for creating a beautiful symbol of friendship through their garden design.
Mr. Kampol Tansajja shared his pleasure at being honored and trusted to design the garden at the embassy for the second time. He emphasized the significance of the “Friendship Garden” concept, which has been a recurring theme in the 16 gardens Nongnooch Pattaya Garden has designed for various embassies.
The diplomatic relationship between Thailand and the Islamic Republic of Iran is deeply rooted in history, dating back over 400 years to the era of the Persian Empire and Siam. This long-standing friendship is well-documented in historical records and continues to be celebrated through initiatives like the Friendship Garden.
The transformation of the embassy’s garden not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also serves as a testament to the enduring friendship between Thailand and Iran.
