At 4:46 AM on August 24th, 2024, the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Teams in Pattaya received a report of a motorcycle collision at the Chaimongkol Temple intersection in South Pattaya, Nong Prue.
According to Pattaya local media, rescue teams rushed to the scene, where they found a Polish national (the name of the victim was withheld by the rescue teams), severely injured. He was given first aid before being urgently transported to the local hospital.
The other party involved, two Thai women (whose names were also not revealed by the rescue teams), were also injured when their motorcycle was directly hit from behind and damaged. They were also taken to the hospital for immediate medical treatment.
According to one of the Thai female victims, she reported that they were stopped at the red light when the foreign rider allegedly crashed into their motorcycle at high speed, causing the injuries.
Initially, the Pattaya police officers were investigating the local CCTV and interrogating witnesses for further legal proceedings.
