Banglamung —
On September 13th, 2024, Banglamung police investigators arrested a drug suspect in the Takhian Tia area of Banglamung, Chonburi, with 72 methamphetamine pills and 13.81 grams of crystal methamphetamine in his possession.
The arrest followed a previous bust on August 12th, where Banglamung officers arrested three suspects (whose names were withheld by the police) with 227 methamphetamine pills, 0.44 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia in the Takhian Tia area.
The three suspects reportedly provided useful testimony linking to a suspect identified only as Mr. Anan, 29, who had been selling drugs to local youths in the Takhian Tia area.
Police tracked Anan, eventually apprehending him with drugs in his pants with 72 methamphetamine pills and 13.81 grams of crystal methamphetamine. He reportedly confessed to being the supplier for the previous suspects and admitted to ownership of the seized drugs.
Initially, officers escorted Anan to the Banglamung police station for further legal proceedings.
